Steel structure with anti-corrosion protection

Carbon Steel Structure: The base, articulation system, backrest, and armrests are constructed from carbon steel profiles measuring 40 × 20 × 2.0 mm, combined with steel plates of 3/16″ and 5/16″ thickness, as well as Ø1″ × 2.0 mm tubing and 3/8″ thick plates.

Construction Quality: Ensures long service life and high resistance, guaranteeing that the armchair maintains its structural integrity and comfort even after years of use, as it has undergone a 1,500-hour SALT SPRAY test.

From the casters to the upholstery

Standard 4″ caster configuration: In addition to this size, it allows for other wheel and brake options—please refer to the end of this catalog. All models feature floor-friendly casters with low rolling noise and an excellent load capacity of 100 kg (221 lbs) per caster.

Upholstery: Waterproof, does not retain dust, and facilitates cleaning and asepsis, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.

Elevation articulations constructed from round carbon steel tubing measuring 40 × 20 × 2.0 mm, combined with 5/16″ thick steel plates.
Backrest and seat constructed from round carbon steel tubing (SAE 1005 to SAE 1030), Ø1″ × 2.0 mm.

Movement System
Movement is performed through an electric system using three motors, characterized by oil-free operation, low noise, low energy consumption, and low maintenance cost.
The electrical system includes protective fuses and an emergency stop button, which activates or deactivates all bed movements.
Control is operated via a wired remote control with eight buttons.
The movements available through the control are: Backrest, Footrest, Bed, Chair, Height Adjustment, and Trendelenburg.

Upholstery Covering: Exclusive hospital-grade vinyl (courvin), with high resistance to fungi and bacteria. Manufactured with a synthetic polyvinyl chloride (PVC) laminate, reinforced with 100% polyester, 0.8 mm thick, and finished with polyurethane. It is waterproof, dust-resistant, and easy to clean and sanitize. Features internal overlapping stitching for a refined finish.

Painting:
All carbon steel components undergo an anti-corrosion chemical treatment followed by a powder-coated electrostatic paint finish, cured in an oven at 220 °C, increasing chemical resistance.
